Granite countertops are categorized into tiers based on their color, pattern, and origin. Tier 1 granite tends to be basic in both appearance and price, while tier 3 offers the variety and sophistication most folks are looking for in a custom home. Higher-tier granites, like tier 5 or 6, boast exotic patterns and colors for those who want to make a bolder statement.

Most builders mark up those upgrades by 25% or more, but at S. Clements Homes, if you decide to move up to a tier 5 or 6, we charge only the actual price difference for that higher-quality material—no hidden fees, no surprise markups.
